"To change everything, we need everybody."
It’s been almost a month since I published the report on campaign staff mental health. Since then, I’ve been so lucky to have lots of really positive feedback and interest in “getting involved.”
So, this Wednesday you’re invited to join an informational call to learn more about how we can get Mind the Movement off the ground.
Mind the Movement is a fund to subsidize therapy for out of work campaign staff, fired federal workers and community organizers on the front lines of today’s most heartbreaking issues.
If you’re lucky enough to be able to afford the support you need, or care about folks in these industries, please join us. We’ll be talking about volunteer opportunities, services we need support with and how you can join our fundraising crew.
I first heard the phrase “to change everything, we need everybody” at a climate march in NYC. It stuck with me all these years later and as I’m building this organization from scratch, out of pocket (while also still unemployed post-election) I’m going to need everybody.
